Animating strokes with the Stroke and Vegas effects
- In this movie I'll show you how you can dress up your type using two effects which live side by side under the Generate category. And I'm referring to the Stroke and Vegas effects. Both can add animated strokes to any path you have inside After Effects. We're also going to use some layer styles effect in order to create a sense of depth and separation between the various elements on screen. I'm going to start with this simple project which I've already created. And this project consists of six layers. The first one is a 3D animated camera. And then we have four atmospherical layers that has some Particle and Fractal Noise effects. If you like, you can reverse engineer this project to see what I already did. Anyhow, the hero of our story here is the SUPER SALE text. This is a 3D layer. And I want to dress it up so it will really feel like it is a super sale happening in space, of course.
