- In order to animate, you're going to need to import this collection. When you exported from Photoshop, it created a folder with several elements. Let me show you how to work with this. If you look inside that folder, you'll see a series of PNG files. Now these are heavily stretched because what this is is the entire surface, and so it took that and spread it out. If we take a look at that in Photoshop for example, you'll see that it's a heavily stretched out file. That file gets remapped inside of After Effects to become one of the walls. If you decided to, you can use tools like the eraser tool to erase away some of this blue to have transparency there or the clone tool to fill in missing areas if you decided to extend it. What you don't wanna do is resize any of these elements. Now, back inside of After Effects, it's pretty simple. Instead of just choosing File Importer, double clicking, you have to be very specific.
