Animated GIF creation in Fireworks
Designed strictly for the creation of screening web images, Fireworks, thanks to Photoshop, has been somewhat overlooked in the pantheon of Adobe products. The crazy thing about this is, once you get used to working with Fireworks, you may come away wondering why you've never used it before. In this exercise, we are going to create an animated GIF using fireworks, and it really doesn't matter what version of Fireworks you use. Fireworks has been cranking out animated gifs since its introduction. To get yourself started, download the exercise files to your desktop, and then launch fireworks. When fireworks opens, select File > Open. And your going to navigate to the Fireworks folder in your download, And inside the Fireworks folder is a PNG sequence folder, open it. Now you'll notice it's open as untitled and open as animation, which is kind of what we want. It's kind of grayed out.
