Advancing frames
- It's important as you move through the timeline that you're precise. I see a lot of folks who drag and drop get things slightly out of sync. Maybe it's three layers that need to start at the exact same time. Let's talk about moving the playhead. Now let's zoom in a little bit here so we can really see the current time indicator. You'll see that the playhead is one frame long. It has a beginning and an end. If we press the arrow keys, the playhead's not moving. Rather, the selected object is. Let's choose undo there and put that back to where it previously was. Now, if you want to move time, you can use the page up and page down keys. You might have to hold a modifier down if you're working on a laptop keyboard. But this lets you advance one frame, going forward, with page up, or one frame to the right using page down.
