Adjustment lights

- It's true that the native 3D implementation inside After Effects is rather basic compared to a dedicated 3D program such as Cinema 4D Lite which now comes bundled with After Effects. However, the 3D implementation in After Effects can still be useful to bang out some quick scenes and there are some hidden features in there you may not be aware of. The one I'm gonna show you in this gem is called Adjustment Lights. It's similar to lights that's in other dedicated 3D programs. This is why you might want it and how it works. Let's say inside this composition, we have a foreground layer that we wish to be brightly illuminated to catch the viewer's attention. Then we have a series of background layers that we wish to receive less lumination so they recede into the background and don't distract the viewer. There's a few different ways of going about that.
