Adding ratings to images

- One of the first steps that you'll need to accomplish as a storyteller is getting organized. When working with documentary photos, chances are you have a wide range of sources at various qualities, and it's going to be important to actually take the time to get those organized. Now, some folks'll use a tool like Lightroom which takes a catalog based approach. But I prefer to actually organize the source images on the drive. Oftentimes when working on documentary films or videos, you're going to get various sources and have to work with a wide range of materials. The benefit of using an application like Adobe Bridge is you can actually organize the hard drive while you're organizing the images. Let me show you. If you haven't launched Bridge, you can do it from within Photoshop by choosing File, Browse in Bridge. You may also have it already in your docs, so feel free to launch the application.
