Adding passes to render settings

Adding Purses to your Render is very easy in CINEMA 4D. All you need to do is just go to your Render settings, in the Render menu, and go to Edit Render Settings. And in here, you add your Multi-Pass options. First thing that you have to do is click on this checkbox to enable Multi-Pass rendering. Now we'll talk about adding lights to the pass later, so we'll leave that for now. Now there is a couple ways that you can do this.

You can go into the Multi-Pass > Add All, and that will add all of these passes. And you see that there is lots of different options for passes. You could output a pass for your Ambient Occlusion, for example, so that you could boost that in post-production. Or maybe increase the contrast, or adjust the levels of the Ambient Occlusion just to make it a bit stronger. There's all sorts of other passes available in here. I'm not going to go through all of them, but you've got Depth passes, Reflection, Shadow passes, Specular highlights.
