Adding masks and mattes to adjustment layers

- In the last example, you saw the Change Color effect in action. And it was easy to refine things, by viewing the mask and seeing what was targeted. But I want to show you some additional techniques for creating your own masks, or how you can even use multiple masks for more targeted results. The key here is to select what you want to adjust, and the pen tool makes this very easy. Let's take a look at the end state here. And you'll see that there are some masks at play. Remember, you can select layers, and press M to reveal the mask. And actually, there's two types of masks at work here. A tracking mack, and a regular mask. So, one layer is adjusting the curves, to really bring out the footage. The next layer is doing exposure, except, it's doing it in a very targeted way. You'll notice that we've selected the alligator. And applied a very gentle feather. So that alligator stands out, and the others are pushed into…
