Adding gravity in the speed graph
- [Instructor] We're now gonna take a look at one of my features in After Effects, the Graph Editor. The Graph Editor is fantastic. You'll see that, if I play this piece of footage, I can see a graph of my animation showing me the timing, and this is the speed graph that we're looking at at the moment. If you want to follow along, you can open up 03_03_Graph if you have access to the exercise files. Now, we had a look at the value graph earlier. You can choose between the different graph types by going down here and switching between the value graph and the speed graph. Now, you'll notice that the value graph is showing us the X and the Y values. If we go to the speed graph, it's showing us the speed that the ball is traveling. I've set up my work area to have a little bit before and a little bit after the animation. Now, it's important, when you're previewing, to do that because if I place my work area right at the end of the animation, as I'm watching it, I haven't really got time…
