Adding dashes to lines
- In this movie, I'll show you show to create dashed strokes lines and animate them using Shape Layers inside After Effects. I'm still using the same project. I've saved my progress, and I'm going to drag my cursor so you can get a sense of what we already have over here. So, couple of cascading animation of Vector Layers, and let's say that around this point when the animation is settled in, along with the title that entering the screen, we want to add some more interest by adding few lines, maybe four lines, that will go from the middle of this shape, so maybe underneath them, and just mark couple of interesting place around the composition area. I'm going to use the Pen tool, and I'm going to create new vector shapes. So in order to do so, you need to make sure that nothing is selected inside After Effects because if any other layer is going to be selected, then After Effects will think that you want to mask it out, and you probably going to get a different result.
