- In this video we're going to explore many of…the different methods you can use to…create and delete keyframes inside of After Effects.…To start, let's look at our composition.…You can see I have two layers;…a Logo PreComp layer and a Background Video layer.…We're just going to animate the Logo PreComp.…Now, I want this animation to kind of take place over…the first three seconds of the time line,…so I don't need all five seconds.…So, when you're working on an animation…one of the easiest way to control things is…by using a thing called the work area.…
So here, if I go to the right side of my timeline,…see this kind of blue grippy thing,…if you click on that and drag it back to the left…I can change my work area.…So, now I'm going to move my current time indicator…back to frame zero, and I'll press the spacebar.…As these frames load up here you'll notice it'll…go ahead and load up the frames just within the work area.…This definitely helps move things more quickly as…you go through your animation…because it doesn't have to load up the entire composition.…
