We've added quite a bit of debris to the scene.…But there's always room for more.…If these walls suffer this kind of damage,…odds are other parts would suffer damage, too.…Like the top and the corner, and the back side.…We do have another render to bring in for that, which is a dust render.…Before I do that, though, I want to clean up this timeline.…There are many layers now, and it's starting to get confusing.…What I can do is go back to pre-compose. This time, however, I'm going to use a…different technique to make sure that the 3D layers are working correctly.…I'm going to start by shift selecting all the debris on the left.…
Bricks left, chunks left.…Wall fall left, rubble left. And then go to layer pre-compose.…I'll name this debris left.…Those layers are replaced by the nested composition layer.…However, everything's in the wrong place.…This time, however, I'm going to use the collapse transformations button.…Looks like a little gear.…If I click that beside the layer, it becomes correct.…
What the collapse transformations button does is it…
- Stabilizing and relighting video footage
- Constructing a 3D environment in After Effects
- Incorporating stock footage effects, such as fireballs
- Fine-tuning CG particle renders
