- One of the biggest challenges you'll face when it comes to animating a logo is actually just getting a usable file. It's amazing to me how easily people loose track of their digital files and while many folks working for a company or brand may have access to a web ready format chances are the original vector logo has gone missing or no one knows exactly where to get it. Let me share with you a few techniques to get a usable digital file. Now first up when you access a website you may find that there are digital logos being presented. With a right click if you have permission to use a file you might be able to access that file. Just right click on the logo or Control + Click and you can choose copy image. This'll place the image onto your digital clipboard and if you switch to an application like Photoshop you can choose to make a new file and paste that in. Now in this case this particular logo is not that big. If we take a look at the pixel count here, I'll see that's about 460…
