- [Instructor] With every release of After Effects, Adobe convert more effects to be GPU accelerated. This means that the experience of working in the application becomes much faster than ever before. To demonstrate how to get the most out of these effects, I'm going to use this composition that I've created from a multi layered Photoshop file class one video clip that I downloaded from Adobe Stock. So what we are seeing here are just flecked 2D cards in 3D space with few adjustments, and couple of solid layers that all has effects which are accelerated. So before we see how it performs and compare it to the regular CPU renderer, I want to show you how to set your project to use GPU acceleration as well as choose to only view those GPU capable effects. So we're going to start by clicking on this little rocket over here, and this is going to open up the project settings and show us the video rendering and effects tab.
