Join Chris Converse for an in-depth discussion in this video About the exercise files, part of Creating an Animated Steam Sprite Sheet with After Effects.
- The exercise files for this course are available to all members of the lynda.com online training library. And they consist of a folder called Sprite Tester. Inside that folder there's an HTML file called sprite.html. And then there's an assets directory which has three additional files. There's a scene.css, which positions our coffee cup in the steam. There's a coffee cup graphic called cup.svg. And then I've included a cds_SpritesheetPlayer.js. This is a sprite sheet player that we've written here at Codify Design Studio.
Now, while the original intention of including this script was so that you could test your project in this course, if this configurable sprite sheet script works for the sprite sheet you make in this course, or other sprite sheets you've made even with other software applications, you are more than welcome to use this script on both personal and commercial websites. So now that we're familiar with the exercise files, next let's get started working in After Effects and creating our steam.
