- [Instructor] Before we go further, I want to make something you may have already picked up on explicitly clear. When you add any kind of source to After Effects, whether it's a moving image, still sequence or audio. Each source item becomes what we would call an Illustrator, a link, as you may know. Well already this approach has some specific advantages and flexibility and basically gives you one main thing to watch out for. Now, we can see that right here. I've gone ahead and broken this link. And so we see a test pattern and I can fix this by selecting the source footage over here in the project panel. I will right click and choose replace footage. And I simply choose the file that I had chosen previously which is back where it belongs. Now, as you might infer from replace footage, I also have the option to actually change this to another file.
