- [Eran] Hello, and welcome to AE Weekly, my name is Eran Stern, and in this episode, I'll show you how to take advantage of the 3D Channel effects over here. At the past, these effects were only useful if you rendered special passes from your 3D app, but, these days, they can operate on any 3D comp, without special treatment. So, you may remember this composition from few weeks back, I've used this project to show you how you can control the camera in After Effects. In case you haven't seen this, you can go back few movies, and look for the Camera control episode. Anyway, to get this 3D look, specifically those 3D titles, I'm using the Cinema 4D Renderer. And just as a reminder, when you use this engine, under the Disabled functions here, it's mentioning camera depth of field, meaning that we can't use the built-in camera options to set the depth of field, or control the focus for these 3D layers.
