Learn about fixing spots on a face, using a variety of methods
- [Instructor] This boy has unfortunate acne…but Photo has a range of tools for clearing up blemishes.…Let's take a look at them.…First, we'll duplicate this layer.…Go to the Commands menu and choose Duplicate.…That way, we can always get back to the original…if we need to later.…We could start by selecting the clone tool,…and let's zoom in.…The way this works is you first press and hold…to set the source point…and then paint where you want to clone,…and it gets rid of that spot quite well.…
When we try and paint over this spot near the lip,…we can see that although it covers it,…it's the wrong color,…and that's because the cheek is much brighter.…So let's undo that and look at a different method.…We can try the healing brush.…Once again, we do a long press to set the source…and I'm choosing a blank area of the skin,…and now we can just paint over the area we want,…but this time, it blends it in so that the colors match.…
We could alternatively use the patch tool…and to use this tool, you first draw a selection…
