- [Instructor] Here's the bust of Schubert that we turned into metal in the previous chapter. Let's see how we can now automate that process. I've docked my macro panel. Let's bring it out. And let's press record to start a new macro. So the first step is to make a new curves adjustment layer. And you'll recall we do this up and down stepping motion to produce the shiny metallic effect. And let's just exaggerate that to make the steps taller. We can put that away. And let's change the mode of this curves adjustment from normal to luminosity, so it only affects the brightness and not the color of the underlying image. We want to tint it, so let's add a new adjustment layer. And we'll use recolor for this one. Then once again drag the hue towards the blue end, and take the saturation a long way down. So we just get a hint of blue. We now want to go down to the bottom layer to add a slight blur to it. When we select it, this dialogue appears. Affinity Photo needs to know exactly what we…
