Learn about adding a second layer, scaling to size, adjusting visibility to allow underlying layer to show through
- [Instructor] Let's add a new sky…to this castle image.…We'll start by pinching out…so we can see the whole thing,…we'll go to the commands button,…and we'll choose place and place from cloud.…And it opens up our dialogue once again.…In the affinity photo folder,…I'm going to choose Sky33.…And we can't see the sky yet.…The reason for that is in order to see it…we have to drive it in the size and position…where we want it.…
So tap and drag to pull it out…to the size that you want.…You can tap inside it to move it,…and grab any of the corner handles…to drag it to the right size.…And I'm going to move it up…so that it aligns with the horizon in this image.…When we're happy with the position,…tap outside it to place it into your document.…We can open the layers studio…by tapping its icon, and that shows the sky…as a separate layer.…
We want to make the underlying layer…show through.…Tap the sky layer to select it,…and now tap the first button…in the layers studio.…There are several ways…to allow the background image to show through.…
