Learn how to use Affinity Design, the powerful vector design tool for the Mac and Windows, to create wireframes, mockups, UI assets, hero graphics, and more.
- [Ronnie] There are a number of graphic tools out there for delivering great graphics and illustration art, but many of them don't have the specific tools that Affinity Designer offers for development of great UI/UX design and responsive web design. Hi, my name is Ronnie McBride, and I'll be your instructor for this Affinity Designer UX Design course. Affinity Designer is a new award-winning vector design application that has quickly gained popularity in the design industry. Affinity Designer can be used to design everything from branding materials, websites, user interfaces, logos, and so much more.
In this course, I'll start by showing you how to set up your preferences and interface specifically for UX/UI design development. Next, we'll take a look at artboards. I'll explain how to create, manipulate, and use them for storyboarding and organizing your project. I will also introduce you to the Swatch Panel and walk you through the various methods of creating custom color themes. We'll be covering a lot of ground in this short course. But after completing it, you should be familiar with all the most important UX/UI-related tools and features currently available in Affinity Designer.
I hope by the end of this course, you'll feel confident and proficient at navigating and applying what you've learned here in your own work.
