Page margins allow you to design with print in mind. In this movie, I demonstrate how to enable and customize the page margin settings in Affinity Designer. After watching, you will be able to create and edit the margins of your print designs.
- [Voiceover] Page margins allow you to design…with printing in mind.…Page margins give you an indication…of the extent of a page that will be printed…when using a desktop printer.…Design elements positioned outside of the margins…may not be printed.…The margin position of your document…can be customized manually, or by using the settings…of the installed printer.…They are non-printing and non-exporting,…so you never have to worry about your margins…actually being printed out in your design.…They are only for reference.…In a previous movie, I showed you…how to create your margins.…
I'm just going to run through that really quick,…just to show that to you one more time.…Go up to File, New, and here you just want to make sure…that your checkbox is on here, Include Margins,…or you can Retrieve them from your local printer.…I'm going to cancel that, because I already have…margins set up on this, and I want to show you…how you can change those margins…in the document that's already been created.…Let's go up to the top here.…
