- [Instructor] Encountering fraud in programmatic. The shiny and hopeful promises of programmatic can be tarnished by a number of factors. First, the ad tech system takes an immediate 40% of the ad revenue for each campaign, and that's before other players jump in and take their share. Second is an even more sinister and pervasive problem, fraud. It is estimated that at least a third of programmatic spending is fraudulent, and advertisers are paying fraudsters rather than reaching audiences. Third, IVT or invalid traffic.
