Using design patterns

- [Diane] As UX designers we're challenged to sift through hundreds of potential interactions to create great interactive experiences. With design patterns you can establish consistency for the user experience and get to better designs faster. You'll become versed in pattern design and understand some of the thinking behind common design paradigms. We'll also take a look at examples on how various companies apply them. Using the concepts and ideas presented you'll be immersed in standard design patterns. In my LinkedIn learning course I'll explain what design patterns are and how to apply them as well as key considerations when using them. I'm a UX designer experienced in creating and driving design pattern libraries. So, join me, Diane Cronenwett, as we walk through some common design use cases and scenarios on when and how to apply design patterns to your next project.
