First off, know that Adobe XD is constantly being updated on a regular basis, pretty much a monthly basis. So your version might look a little bit different than mine. To make sure you have the latest version, you can go to the Creative Cloud desktop app. Find Adobe XD and make sure it's updated. Mine is, looks great, and in fact, you can also provide feedback to the team on the development of it right through this Help menu, as well as finding additional resources. But I wanted to give you some resources of my own, some resources I like. First off, I wanted to point out jnd.org. This is Don Norman's website, Designing for People. He wrote The Design of Everyday Things, which is a classic, so check out his website. Also, there's the Nielsen Norman Group.
