- [Danny] Hello and welcome to the XD Weekly, … I'm your host Danny Beaumont. … XD '19, as I've mentioned, is an incredibly big release. … One of the new features in this latest release … is support for a new tool in the tool panel, … so if I go towards the tool panel here … on the left hand side I have a number of standard tools. … I've got a rectangle, an ellipse or a circle tool, … just below that I now have a polygon tool. … You probably know that as I'm working on the design canvas, … so I don't have to go back and forth to that tool panel, … using particular keys I can come in … and change out my tool as I'm drawing, … so if I type an R on the keyboard … I can bring up the rectangle tool. … I can see that I have, with that rectangle tool, … the crosshairs, which is where I'm going to begin drawing, … and in an incredibly small example … just below that crosshairs I see a little rectangle, … or a little square, that's indicating … that I have that rectangle tool selected. … If I want to change to the ellipse or the circle tool, …
