as part of the design systems in the XD 19 version … of the application. … In this week's session I'm going to show you … how linked assets work … and how they've evolved from what was delivered in the past … known as linked symbols. … So in earlier versions of Adobe XD … or just work on your own with let's say a brand or a client … from project to project … this idea of linked assets can be really useful and handy. … So let me break down how you go about setting up … a linked asset that you work with across documents. … I'm here in XD and I've got my project going, … I have the Assets panel open here from the side … and as I've been working I've been creating Components, … which are a brand new reworked version of symbols … that allow you to reuse elements throughout your design. … And to do that I kind of built out a little UI Kit here … that has kind of a look and feel of all the UI elements … that I want to use in my project … and I saved out a lot of these elements as Components. …
