- [Instructor] Global navigation is a foundational element of any digital user experience design. The global navigation reflects how your experience is organized and helps establish a sense of place while defining its structure. If you want to learn more about structure, check out my Interaction Design: Structure course. Global navigation typically has a few common elements, logo, tabs, menus, and a search bar. We'll delve into the details of each of these elements throughout the course. You can separate your navigation structure into primary, secondary, and tertiary if it makes sense for your design and use cases.
