Learn how to use the Adobe XD API to create plugins and extensions to extend the features and workflow of Adobe XD.
- [Instructor] Adobe XD is a great platform to create interactive prototypes and explore the many possibilities for your next application. But as you explore the tool you may find it's missing a particular integration or tool to extend your prototypes. And this is where the Adobe XD APIs come into play. The Adobe XD APIs allow you to create plugins and extensions for the application and add functionalities beyond its own features. I want to explore in this course how to build one. Hi I'm Emmanuel Henri and it would be my pleasure to guide you on the journey towards building your first plugin with JavaScript HTML and CSS code. We'll first take a look at how to properly set up your coding environment for success. Then we'll get our project started by adding the proper dependencies and files. Next, we'll create the components required and add some interactions and finalize the interface. Then we'll focus some time on discussing and applying interfacing options with your plugins and adding alerts. Lastly, we'll explore how to publish and promote your plugin to the XD community. So if you're ready to begin this journey on how to build your first plugin for Adobe XD, open up your favorite code editor and let's get started.
