- [Brian] Welcome to Adobe XD, Using UI kits. My name is Brian Wood, and I'm going to lead you through. We're going to talk a lot about XD and getting a jumpstart using UI kits and what that means. We'll take you through a lot of different things, and first, what I want to explore is, I guess, everything that we're going to cover in this course. So we're going to start out by understanding what UI kits are, and what types of UI kits there are, and we're also going to talk about where you can find some really unique and interesting UI kits, aside from those that Adobe has available.
We're also going to talk about starting to use that UI kit content and what that means, 'cause sometimes UI kits are set up a little differently, and it depends on what you're looking for and what you find. We'll also talk a little bit about UI kits and fonts. I know that sounds kind of weird, but a lot of UI kits use fonts that you won't have installed on your machine, so, how do we get them? We'll also take a look at the iOS kit, as well as a couple others, and just see how it works, and how we can use that content. And we'll talk a little bit about the Wireframes kit, talk about responsive web design, and just some different ways that we can do that using the resize options in XD.
And we'll also show you an Auto-animate kit that's a little bit newer, and just some things that we can do with that to learn even how Auto-animate works. So let's jump in. The next thing I'm going to do is just take you through the lesson files and show you what's involved.
