Creating a logo with Spark logo maker

- You may have noticed when we first uploaded the logo that there was an option, if you didn't have a logo to create one. That's fine too because you may not have a visual brand yet. Once you click that it's going to take you to the logo maker. You could choose to design your own logo pretty easily. Spark's going to walk you through a series of steps to help you build a logo. What you'll need to do is add some information. My restaurant is called Court Street Bistro. And you can add a slogan to appear beneath the logo in some designs. Then click next. Now it's going to ask you to choose a general style. What it's showing you here are some simple options that you can evaluate. These are just getting started. Do you want something that's more decorative, a modern design, something that's elegant or dramatically bold? I'll choose modern here. This is just a general category to get you started. Then click next. What you'll need to do is pick a general icon. You can start typing in things to search, to find different choices and you'll see that it presents you options to select from. Feel free to scroll through to see additional choices. When you find something you like simply click to apply and then choose next. Now it's going to put together some different options to show you. it'll play with the variety of fonts and colors and you could see these different choices. Some use the tagline others do not. As you see here there's a wealth of options and as you scroll, it will continue to generate new options. If you see one that you like just click and it will use that as a starting point. You can also switch styles at the bottom to see different options and combinations. If you find a logo that you like, you could then click and add it to your design. I'm going to stick with the logo I already have but this is quite useful. If you're just getting started and you haven't built a logo yet this will give you some options to explore, to help you look at typography, color and iconography. This is a good starting point but doesn't take the place of hiring a real designer or taking the time to make your own. But in any case it's a great way to see your options and to get some things rolling.
