- [Instructor] Before we actually get started using Adobe Portfolio, I think it's important for you to understand exactly what Adobe Portfolio actually is. If you go to www.myportfolio.com, you'll be taken to this website here. Now the imagery and messaging will obviously change over time. If you're watching this at a later date than when I recorded it, it may look a little different. But the idea's basically the same. From this page, you could take a look at what the Adobe Portfolio system actually is. As it says here, you can create beautifully simple showcasing your creativity is easy with Adobe Portfolio.
Basically as you scroll through here, you will see what it's all about. You can build a website in basically minutes as they say with Adobe Portfolio. You can see the different links here take you to different pages like the features. On the features section, you will see some of the things that it can do. For instance, here is a picture of the editor where you can go in and actually set things like your page background and all that good stuff. You can see all of the different things you have access to inside of Adobe Portfolio like Typekit fonts, live editing, direct access to anything on your page without having to know anything about code, using your own domain name, etc...
You can also browse some of the layouts that they have built in here like the Mercedes layout, the Sawdust layout, the Lina layout. All of these are available to you as part of Adobe Portfolio. You can use them as the basis for your website. You can also see here that you can sync your website with Behance. If you use Behance already for your portfolio or for uploading works in progress, things like that, you can actually sync it directly with your Adobe Portfolio page to easily transfer all of you work over. You can also check out some examples of the Adobe Portfolio system in action, other people's pages that they've created with it.
Here is a beautiful gallery full of different pages that designers have created using Adobe Portfolio. I highly recommend that you check that out for some inspiration. Then, finally, if I scroll back up to the top here, and we check on pricing, you can see here that just by itself you can use this at 9.99 per month. It includes a portfolio website, comes with fonts from Typekit, but you also get access to Photoshop and Lightroom as part of this 9.99 a month plan. You can also choose the 49.99 plan which is, of course, full access to Adobe Creative Cloud.
If you're already an Adobe Creative Cloud subscriber, you already have access to Adobe Portfolio. What is Adobe Portfolio? Essentially, it's an add on to the Creative Cloud ecosystem that makes it super simple for you to publish your portfolio website using the Adobe Creative Cloud.
