- [Instructor] A little bit earlier I talked about setting…a favicon and a web clip icon.…In this movie I'm going to show you how to do that.…Exactly what is a favicon or a web clip icon?…Well a favicon is something you normally see like…up in the address bar, or when you bookmark something…it's a tiny little icon that represents the site.…Often times it's not really easy to see,…and many people just kind of skip over it,…but it is a great way to add a little extra bit…of your personal brand into your website.…Let's go over to the settings section over here,…and inside of the settings let's go down to favicon,…and as you can see it tells you that a favicon is…what appears in the tab of web browsers.…
You can upload your own favicon.…Your favicon must be square and no smaller than 32 by 32.…Please note that your favicon may not appear…in all browsers immediately.…The reason for that is that a lot of browsers cache…these things, and so caching means they kind of save a clip…of the website and its imagery so that it doesn't…
