Using image layers for tracing

- [Instructor] In the previous movie I bought in an Image Layer via the clipboard. Of course we've covered adding an Image Layer earlier on in this chapter. So you can bring one in from a range of sources and if you're a Premium subscriber, you'll have access to the image I'm using here inside of the exercise files. So if you want to play along with this one, then please do. When you've got your Image Layer, ideally you need to draw a layer above it. Although if you try and draw on an Image Layer then one will be added for you anyway. If there's one present, as there is here, it will simply switch to that. And don't forget that you can drag things up and down in the Layer Stack as well. So by just long-pressing on them in the Layer Stack you can just drag them wherever you need to be. The main thing, I guess, in using an Image Layer is reducing the opacity.
