Using color harmonies

- [Instructor] Illustrator Draw also allows you to use color harmonies in choosing colors and that's based on research that goes back for a good few hundred years. What I'm going to do is, I'm going to tap on the color swatch at the bottom and here's my picker and I'm going to go to the top right-hand corner where you can see, like, a cluster of circles and lines and this is where I can access my color harmonies. If I tap there, I can choose the kind of color harmony I want to use. So, for example, analogous uses colors around the base color, that's the color I have chosen, just there and you can see it's created this cluster on the wheel and underneath, you can see the resulting color set. So, analogous colors go within a few degrees either side of the base color. I'll tap again, I'll choose monochromatic and so what this does is it varies the saturation and brightness around the base color and I'll come up to triad and that gives me colors separated by 120 degrees.
