Snapping behaviors
- [Narrator] So as shown in an earlier movie and as you will have noticed when you're using things like the straight edge, they can snap to certain degrees. For example, if I get the straight edge or ruler here, and spin that around, you can see that it snaps to 90 degrees and it snaps to zero degrees. So either of those two things, perfectly horizontal or vertical. Well if you need another behavior, you can change that very simply by going to the gear flyout, and then using these options underneath shape snapping. If I tap 45 degrees, for example, you'll now see that it snaps to 45 degrees. And it also snaps to 90 degrees. Of course that's a multiple of 45 degrees and to zero, of course, all the way around. And you can set that to 30 degrees also and then it will snap to those increments. So there ya go. It snaps at 30 and then of course at 60. Two of those in there, 90, three of those. So you've got plenty of options there. If you don't want the ruler to snap at all, in fact…
