Shape layers as clipping masks and vector masks

- Here's another way we can use shape layers as clipping masks to create interesting picture treatments. So, I have here a landscape, which doesn't convey the majesty of the scene. So, I thought, well, maybe if I put it into separate windows it might just make it a little bit more interesting. I'm doing that by clipping the image to a series of four rectangles, all on the same shape layer. So, let's start with the beginning version. Now, the first part is an optional extra. You don't have to do this, but I think it looks better if you do, and that is create a guide layout. So, I've decided that I'd like four of these windows and I'd like the space between them, the gutter, to be the same as the margin values. An easy way to achieve that is by using a guide layout. So, New Guide Layout. I'm going to say I want four columns and I would like the margin to be 40 pixels and I also want the gutter to be 40 pixels. We don't need any rows in this case.
