Learn about the benefits of deliberate practice.
- [Narrator] A couple of points in this title,…I've encouraged some deliberate practice…by doing things such as filling blocks with color…and erasing color and then just other things…just to get you using the app.…Even if you are very proficient…in the graphic or illustrative arts…and you draw very well on conventional media…or even on a screen, this is quite different…as an application, and the best way…to achieve mastery of it is to practice often…and very deliberately.…
So choose something that you want to do.…It may be a particular thing that you want to draw,…or it may be a particular technique…that you want to work with.…For example, you might determine…that what you actually want to do…is master working with shapes.…So you can kind of start to build things out…with shapes.…Well, maybe you want to master mixing colors…and using colors, and you can just do that…quite deliberately.…So here, I'm doing both things together…and I'm using shapes and finding out…more about using them like so.…
Double-tap on there.…And they're maybe making them wider and narrower…
