Adobe Ideas, Adobe Line, and Illustrator Draw

- [Narrator] Mobile drawing with Adobe Tools actually began way back in 2010 with Adobe Ideas, and then three or four years later, two branches emanated from Adobe Ideas. One aligned with the Photoshop family, in the form of Photoshop Sketch, and the other aligned with the Illustrator family, and that was called Illustrator Line. Now this seemed to be aimed at a more precise way of drawing, not super super precise, but precise enough to make ideas look very polished, and its intent, I guess was for architects and product designers, those kind of things. But I think it became obvious very early on that creatives really wanted a vector tool like that, and so shortly afterwards, Photoshop Sketch continued on as it was, inheriting some of the tools from Illustrator Line, and then Adobe Illustrator Draw appeared with just a couple of those things in and completely different drawing tools. And so that's how we've got where we are. So you might hear about Illustrator Line, you might hear about Adobe Ideas, and they're both ancestors of Illustrator Draw.
