Adding an image layer

- You can use image layers either as part of your composition or as guides for drawing. Very easy to add, tap on the plus, and as you've probably seen with adding draw layers, image layer is there, and when I tap that, I have a whole range of sources to bring in an image from. I'm going to use my files just here, and I'm going to use one of the files that is available to you in the exercise files, and use this skull image here. It has a slightly different name in your exercise files, but it's exactly the same thing. I'm going to tap open file, and then I'm going to tap done at the top. I don't want to do anything to it at the moment, we'll look at that in the next movie. And then what I can do is I can tap on that, for example, and reduce the opacity like so if I want to. Very handy if you're going to use it as an image guide. And then pull that down in the layer stack, so it's underneath that draw layer, and then of course I can get my drawing tools and start to work on top of it. In…
