- [Instructor] One thing I'm not a huge fan of when it comes to comments is that they can be pretty ambiguous. You really sometimes just never know what that person is talking about. Let me explain what I'm getting at here. So let's just add a comment here. And I'm going to come in as a guest, and I'll call myself John. Yes, I'm not a robot. I'm going to submit. And the comment I'm going to make is "Looks great." And you can see, there it is right there.
Well, that's great, John, but what looks great? And this is where a little feature built into XD really is going to be a great help, and that is the ability to pin comments. I've already signed in here, so I'm just going to make a comment, "This image is a bit flat." And you'll see this little pin right here.
So if you click it, you get a little dot by the circle, and you can just say, look, I want this to go right there. So you just tap, and there it is, okay. And then I'm going to add another comment here. I'm going to reply to John. So I'm just going to click Reply. "Agree, will fix." And you can see that I can reply to that specific comment.
Now, if you come across here, you'll notice I've got two pins here where Thomas said, "Move the face into the circle?" and "Can you sample the food?" So you can see that you've got a little bit less ambiguity when it comes to making comments because you can pin comments directly to what is being talked about. Now, one other thing I want to show you, if you're the owner of the project, if you take a look up here, your Creative Cloud icon is now sporting this little red dot. And if I come to Home, you'll see there are your comments so you can get right at them.
And if you just click on it, it will take you right to where the comments are. And you can fix them right within the web prototype. Now one other thing is that these pins will not show up in the prototype in the XD interface. These are strictly web-based. Now, if you want to resolve it, all you have to do is just click this Resolved, and it goes away because I have fixed it. And if I want to delete a comment, because I own the project I can click the Delete Comment and away it goes.
And now let's see if we've got any more. I've got one more here. So I just want to get rid of that. I'm just going to delete it. And you see no more comments. And if I come up to my Creative Cloud, you can see that what would happen on the project. So people's comments got deleted. So there you go, there's working with pins and commenting in Adobe XD CC.
