Working with assets

- [Narrator] Adobe recently added an assets panel to animate. The assets panel contains a number of ready to use assets and is not bound to any specific project or file. We'll make use of the assets available here to design our first animation. We've spent a little bit of time in our properties panel, just toying with documents settings. Note that grouped with the properties panel is also the library panel, which contains assets that can be reused within our document like symbols, bitmaps audio files and this library is a document level resource. So each and every FLA file has its own self contained library. Right next to this is the assets panel. In the assets panel you have assets that span every document that you open inside of animate. We have both default assets that comes shipped with animate and these have a number of different categories here. So we can look at animated categories and you get characters, props, backgrounds.
