Using additional canvas blend modes
- [Instructor] In previous versions of animate, we've had access to either, the add or normal blend modes when working in HTML5 canvas. This all changes now with the addition of many more blend modes when authoring with the HTML5 canvas document type. So here we are in a canvas document and we've just got a one frame example project here with a background and this little ninja girl. Let's go ahead and select her, because this will give us access to our object properties and she is a movie clip symbol. Let's go ahead and look down into our blend modes here so expanding the blend section if it's not already and for blend it's going to default of course to normal. And now we have a number of additional blend modes inside of HTML5 canvas. As mentioned, we used to have access to Add and Normal, so now we also have Darken, Multiply, Lighten, Screen, Overlay, Hard Light, Add and Difference. That's quite an improvement.
