Join Joseph Labrecque for an in-depth discussion in this video Export an animated GIF, part of Adobe Animate CC New Features.
- [Instructor] With the addition…of a revamped image exporter…comes a much improved animated GIF generator.…Animated GIFs have seen a massive resurgence…in the past few years…and are a natural fit for content created within Animate CC.…So here we have our little animation of a ball…that's rolling with the camera enabled and active.…Let's go ahead and create an animated GIF out of this.…So I'll choose File, Export,…Export Animated GIF.…
This will go ahead and bring up our Export Image dialog…with default animated GIF properties selected.…I'm going to disable transparency…so that we get the stage background color here.…We can go ahead and preview this in the default browser…just like any other image.…And not only does it play our GIF for us,…but we also get all the different choices that we made…and the size of the file.…
Obviously this is a rather large file…because we have a lot going on.…Of course we can go ahead and change that.…So maybe we only want this to be 25%.…Here you can tell the animated GIF…is going to be a lot smaller now, 120k.…
