Join Dermot O' Connor for an in-depth discussion in this video Creating groups, part of Animate CC: Storyboarding.
- [Instructor] In the previous movie,…I showed you how to take a character…and add some secondary poses,…so what I've done between then and now…is I've just blocked them in a little more tightly.…So we have a few more, very crudely, lightly drawn poses,…including like a little anticipation here…with the reaction shots where he's looking up.…Let's just have a quick look inside the symbol there.…So all we have our about this many.…That's it.…It's really basic,…and frankly, probably even more than we need…'cause we have all these little contact poses.…
Nice to have if you can find the time to do all that…'cause it gives about one pose every second or half second,…kind of gives the storyboard…or the animatic a little more life.…So anyway, let's go back out…and let's think about the next pose.…So this shadow that's coming into the shot…is the shadow being cast by a UFO.…The Martians are here.…So I want the next shot to be not too long.…It's a close-up shot where we get to see a really good look…at either at the character's face…
