- [Instructor] So in the previous movie, I showed you how to make a scene template, how to import your storyboard, thumbnails, sketches, or animatics into it. So in this case, now we're inside 060 marching scene, so I want to show you how you begin to populate the scene, because one question I get a lot is where do I even start, when it comes, I know how to maybe animate a puppet or a rig, but building the whole scene, the shot, bringing it all together, even starting it, how do I do that? So hopefully this will answer some of those questions. So first thing's first, we need some layer hygiene. So I'm going to call layer three reference layer, because it's just the reference image, and let's make some more empty layers. So I want to modify this somewhat. So what I really want to do, and I'm going to make a new dud layer down here, just very temporarily, so I'm going to pick the brush tool, and working in black. So what I want to do is to make something that's a little more visually…
