Asset Warp tool and warped objects

- [Instructor] A long-awaited feature, the Asset Warp tool, is now available in Animate CC. Not only can you create a mesh on bitmaps and shapes, but you can animate them as well. We'll have a look at this file here, and notice that I have Sebastian selected, and this is a bitmap image. Now, the Asset Warp tool can be used on either bitmap images like this, or even on shape data that you create within Animate itself. The new tool can be found right here in the Tools panel, and it looks like a little push-pin. And once I select that, I can then begin placing pins at various points strategically on my asset. Note that as soon as I create at least one point, we get this mesh over the entire object, and in our Properties panel, we can see this is now a warped object. We have a number of Warp options here. We can show the mesh or not. I find it very useful to see the mesh, and we can choose the Handle mode, whether it's a fixed or open handle. This just depends on how much the movement of…
