- [Voiceover] In this demonstration,…I'll be configuring an Amazon Web Services,…or AWS, subordinate CA.…So what's going to happen here…is I'm going to use my on-premises certificate authority…and configure Amazon Web Services…with a subordinate certificate authority.…So to get started here, I've already created…an Amazon Web Services account,…and I've signed into the AWS Management Console.…So what I want to do here from the Management Console…is scroll down, and under the security section,…I'm interested in the AWS certificate manager,…so I'll go ahead and click on that.…
Down below, I'm going to go down under…private certificate authority,…and I'm going to click "get started".…Now, the only option I have here is "Subordinate CA"…because I need to already have…a CA, a root CA, that I've configured,…and I've already got that done through…Windows, through the certification authority component…on premises.…The purpose here is by making a subordinate CA in the cloud,…we'll have a way into the cloud to issue…certificates, for example, for secure websites…
