- Let's take a look at another feature…of the Output Preview module.…Again, I'm gonna put this in Fit Screen,…and then to Print Production,…and then Output Preview.…But rather than concentrating on Separations,…down here where it says Preview…I'm gonna click the pull down and choose Color Warnings.…It looks like everything goes away…and there's nothing that you can do,…but these are actually very handy.…Show Overprinting and then Rich Black.…So when I hit Show Overprinting…it's kind of hard to tell because the highlight…actually looks orange up here,…although notice this black text on the left…says that it's set to Overprint,…well who cares?…It's Overprinting white paper,…empty space, it doesn't matter.…
This is just one those sort of funny little things.…By default black text in Illustrator and InDesign…is set to Overprint and that's really the way you want it,…except for maybe big headline text on top of a picture…in sort of odd cases.…But here it's true that it's set to Overprint,…the thing is that this isn't really a problem.…
