- A Security Envelope…is a great way to protect documents…without necessarily encrypting the documents themselves,…although that is an option.…Instead, you wrap documents…in an encrypted Security Envelope…and then send as an email attachment…or by using a file transfer service.…So let's take a look at how this works.…You start by choosing Protect…and then that enters into the Protect Tool.…If you have a file open that's fine…but if you don't have a file open…you can still use this feature.…
Just go to the upper right, click on More Options…and in that pulldown choose Create Security Envelope.…And you'll see at the left it tells you the steps…that you're about to go through.…And there are five steps.…And the first step, it says well pick the files that…you want to enclose in this Security Envelope.…So I'll select these two files.…I could select more of course.…And then I'll click Next.…It says, well what would you like…the Envelope Template to be…and this really controls how the Envelope looks…and there are some cute options.…
